今回紹介するオノマトペ

「ぱくっ」「もぐもぐ」「ごっくん」

「がぶっ」「むしゃむしゃ」「ちらっ」「じ～」

「ごくっ」

基本の意味とビデオの中で使い分けたニュアンス

「ぱくっ」と「がぶっ」

どちらも大きく口を開けて食べ物を口の中に入れる様子を表します。

個人的には清音（〃がついていない）の「ぱくっ」の方が軽い印象を与えます。

大きく開いた口に注意を向ける感じです。

「がぶっ」は濁音で（〃がついている）個人的には、重さや少し粗野な印象を覚えます。歯を使って食べ物に食いついたり、食べ物をかじりとったりする感じです。

「もぐもぐ」と「むしゃむしゃ」

どちらも、食べ物をかむ様子を表します。

音の発声法を考慮すると、「もぐもぐ」は母音が/オ/と/ウ/ですので、口をあまり開けない印象を与えます。基本的に口を閉じた状態での咀嚼と解釈しました。

「むしゃむしゃ」は「しゃ」の母音/ア/で口を少し大きく開けるので、少し口を開けて咀嚼する解釈にしました。

「ごっくん」と「ごくっ」

どちらも、ものを飲み込む様子を表します。

「ごっくん」は、五十音最後の音「ん」で終わるので、口の中の食べ物を一気に全部飲み込んで完了するニュアンスにしました。

「ごくっ」は小さい「っ」で軽い音の印象を与えるので、少量の液体を飲み込むニュアンスにしました。

「ちらっ」

一瞬ちょっと[見る/見える]ことを表します。

「じ～」

凝視する様子を表します。

Signification de base et nuances utilisées dans la vidéo

'Paku' et 'Gabu'

Ces deux mots décrivent le fait d'ouvrir grand la bouche pour mettre de la nourriture dedans.

Personnellement, je trouve que « paku » (consonnes sourdes, sans le signe 〃) donne une impression plus légère.

On a l'impression que l'accent est mis sur la bouche grande ouverte.

Quant à 'gabu' (avec le signe 〃), comme il s'agit de consonnes voisées, j'ai personnellement l'impression qu'il est plus lourd et un peu plus rustique. On a l'impression de mordre dans la nourriture avec les dents et l'arracher.

'Mogu mogu' et 'Musha musha'

Ces deux expressions décrivent le fait de mâcher de la nourriture.

Si l'on tient compte de la prononciation, « mogumogu » comporte les voyelles /o/ et /u/, ce qui donne l'impression que la bouche n'est pas très ouverte. J'ai donc interprété cette expression comme désignant une mastication effectuée essentiellement la bouche fermée.

Quant à 'mushamusha', la voyelle /a/ du son « sha » implique que la bouche s'ouvre un peu plus largement ; j'ai donc interprété cette expression comme désignant une mastication effectuée la bouche légèrement ouverte.

'Gokkun' et 'Goku'

Ces deux mots désignent le fait d'avaler quelque chose.

Comme 'gokkun' se termine par le son « n », le dernier de la série des kana, j'ai voulu lui donner la nuance d'une déglutition d'un seul coup, où l'on avale d'un coup tout ce qui se trouve dans la bouche.

Quant à 'goku', le petit « tsu » lui confère une impression de légèreté, c'est pourquoi j'ai choisi de lui donner la nuance d'une déglutition d'une petite quantité de liquide.

'Chira' 

Exprime le fait de regarder, apercevoir quelque chose l'espace d'un instant.

'Ji~'

Exprime le fait de fixer du regard.

The basic meaning and the nuances used in the video

'Paku' and 'Gabu'

Both words describe the act of opening one’s mouth wide to take food into the mouth.

Personally, I feel that the unvoiced sound ‘pakku’ (without the 〃) gives a lighter impression.

It draws attention to the wide-open mouth.

‘Gabu’ is a voiced sound (with the 〃), and personally, I associate it with a sense of heaviness or a slightly rough impression. It feels as though one is biting into the food with one’s teeth or gnawing at it.

'Mogu mogu' and 'Musha musha'

Both terms describe the act of chewing food.

Considering the pronunciation, “mogu mogu” contains the vowels /o/ and /u/, which give the impression that the mouth isn’t opened very wide.

I therefore interpreted this as chewing with the mouth essentially closed.

As ‘musha mushu’ contains the vowel /a/ in ‘sha’, which requires  opening the mouth slightly wider, I interpreted this as chewing with the mouth slightly open.

‘Gokkun’ and ‘Goku’

As ‘gokkun’ ends with ‘n’, the final sound in the Japanese syllabary (kana), it conveys the sense of swallowing all the food in one's mouth in one go.

'Goku', on the other hand, uses the small “tsu” sound, which gives it a lighter impression, so it conveys the sense of swallowing a small amount of liquid.

'Chira' 

This expresses the act of [glancing at/catching a glimpse of] something for just a moment.

'ji-'   

This expresses the act of staring intently.
